| dc.description | The present investigation addressed the topic "Phubbing and Self-expression in Social Situations", whose general objective was to determine the relationship of Phubbing with the Self-expression in Social Situations being beneficiaries of the Second B.G.U of the U.E "Cap. Edmundo Chiriboga. "The act of ignoring other people for focusing their attention on the cellular device is what is currently known as Phubbing, meanwhile, Self-expression in Social Situations is the spontaneity that each human being possesses to express himself in various social environments without withdrawal and anxiety towards other people, an important pillar that is framed in Social Skills. Methodologically we worked with the quantitative approach and the non-experimental design, the type of research was; by the place of field, by the transversal time, by the level or correlational reach. With a non-probabilistic and intentional sample settling in 163 students, the Data Collection Instruments (IRD) was the Ad hoc survey technique and the Social Skills Scale (EHS) dimension Self-expression in Social Situations of Gismero (2010). It is concluded that a large part of the students present a medium level of Phubbing, and most of them present a low level of Self-expression in Social Situations, likewise there is no correlation between these variables. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación abordó el tema “Phubbing y Autoexpresión en Situaciones Sociales”, cuyo objetivo general fue determinar la relación de Phubbing con la Autoexpresión en Situaciones Sociales siendo beneficiarios el Segundo B.G.U de la U.E “Cap. Edmundo Chiriboga”. El acto de ignorar a las demás personas por centrar su atención al dispositivo celular es lo que actualmente se conoce como Phubbing, por su parte, Autoexpresión en Situaciones Sociales es la espontaneidad que posee cada ser humano para expresarse en diversos ambientes sociales sin retraimiento y ansiedad hacia las demás personas, pilar importante que está enmarcado en la Habilidades Sociales. Metodológicamente se trabajó con el enfoque cuantitativo y el diseño no experimental, el tipo de investigación fue; por el lugar de campo, por el tiempo transversal, por el nivel o alcance correlacional. Con una muestra no probabilística e intencional estableciéndose en 163 estudiantes, los Instrumentos de Recolección de Datos (IRD) fue la técnica encuesta Ad hoc y la Escala de Habilidades Sociales (EHS) dimensión Autoexpresión en Situaciones Sociales de Gismero (2010). Se concluye que gran parte de los estudiantes presenta un nivel medio de Phubbing, y la mayoría de los mismos presentan un nivel bajo de Autoexpresión en Situaciones Sociales, así mismo no existe correlación entre estas variables. | es_ES |
