| Resumen : | La ciudad de Riobamba ha evidenciado un crecimiento urbano natural que se expande fuera de las áreas consolidadas, conformando zonas periféricas que con los años se transformaron en sectores urbanos de la ciudad. Este proceso se presenta con la delimitación del perímetro urbano de la ciudad en la década de los 70, el cual da origen a sectores como el Z30 que se desconectan de la urbe. En la presente investigación se analiza la evolución urbana del sector Z30 que se ubica al nororiente de la ciudad de Riobamba. A través de la recopilación de información documental e histórica del sector, se establece una cronología que se interpreta por medio de una matriz de análisis, identificando el proceso de crecimiento y las características que conllevaron a su actual trazado urbano. La investigación inicia desde la fundamentación teórica sobre la evolución urbana, misma que ayudara a comprender el crecimiento de las zonas periféricas, seguido de la recolección de datos documentales e históricos, que permitieron identificar a cada uno de los emplazamientos que conforman su trazado, posteriormente se analizó individualmente los datos obtenidos de cada proyecto estableciendo así un orden cronológico de hechos que reseñan la evolución urbana del sector Z30. Finalmente se concluye con la elaboración de una línea de tiempo que muestre las características de evolución en el sector Z30, identificando las causas que conllevaron a su actual trazado irregular. Con el propósito de presentar un análisis FODA que permita establecer políticas de intervención que mejoren su actual trazado urbano. |
| Descripción : | The city of Riobamba has evidenced a natural urban growth that expands outside the consolidated areas, forming peripheral zones that have been transformed into urban sectors of the city over the years. This process is presented with the delimitation of the city's urban perimeter in the 70s, which gives rise to sectors such as Z30 that are disconnected from the town. In the present investigation, the urban evolution of the Z30 sector, located in the northeast of the city of Riobamba, is analyzed. Through the compilation of documentary and historical information about the sector, a chronology is established that is interpreted through an analysis matrix, identifying the growth process and the characteristics that lead to its current urban layout. The investigation begins from the theoretical foundation on urban evolution, which will help understand the growth of peripheral areas, followed by the collection of documentary and historical data. These allowed the identification of each of the sites that make up its layout and later individually analyzed the data obtained from each project, thus providing a chronological order of events that review the urban evolution of the Z30 sector. Finally, it concludes with elaborating a timeline that shows the characteristics of evolution in the Z30 sector, identifying the causes that lead to its current irregular layout.
