| dc.description | This thesis studies the problems generated by the urban expansion of Riobamba on the Shuyos quadrant´s urban edge between Atahualpa and Félix Proaño avenues. Based on the graphical analysis and urban concepts from different authors that state the importance of the city´s scaled planning, which leads to combining the urban part with the rural one, the parameters to generate a compact city are determined. Strategies focused on improving the border is outlined considering four intervention categories: environmental, mobility, dynamics of use, and landscaping, which will help with the evident social and economic issues from the population of this sector, in addition to the improvement in terms of insecurity and pollution perception, together with the recovery of critical green areas so that the city becomes tenable and sustainable, implying an increase in the quality of life of its occupants. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Esta tesis estudia las problemáticas que ha generado la expansión urbana de la ciudad de Riobamba en el borde urbano sector el Shuyo entre las avenidas Atahualpa y Félix Proaño. A base de análisis gráficos y conceptos urbanos de diferentes autores que declaran la importancia de una planificación escalada de ciudad, la cual conlleve a conjugar la parte urbana con la rural, se determinan los parámetros para generar una ciudad compacta. Se trazan estrategias enfocadas en el mejoramiento del borde considerando 4 categorías de intervención: ambiental, movilidad, dinámicas de usos y paisajísticas, las cuales ayudaran al evidente problema social y económico de los habitantes del sector, además de la mejora en cuanto a la percepción de inseguridad y contaminación, junto a la recuperación de áreas verdes importantes para que la ciudad se vuelva sostenible y sustentable, implicando un aumento en la calidad de vida de sus ocupantes. | es_ES |
