Diseño urbano-arquitectónico del asentamiento "barrio Nuevo Amanecer”-sector Shell. La casa AMWAE como ente regulador

Abstract

Durante largo tiempo el territorio Waorani se ha expuesto a la intervención de diversas empresas y programas que han provocado cambios en la nacionalidad, generando interrelación entre lo urbano y lo rural, es decir que han existido migraciones hacia espacios periféricos urbanos; partiendo de su lugar de origen en busca de mejores oportunidades como la educación, empleo y porque sus recursos naturales empiezan a escasear, por consiguiente se obtiene como resultado asentamientos humanos informales por medio de la construcción espontánea y sin planeación urbana alguna, por esta razón, la siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo generar una propuesta de Diseño Urbano-Arquitectónica en el asentamiento Barrio “Nuevo Amanecer”- sector Shell, tomando al equipamiento administrativo y de hospedaje temporal, casa AMWAE, como ente regulador, espacio vinculante y de adaptabilidad para el sector. El presente estudio se basó en una investigación cualitativa, con diseño etnográfico, que abarca la descripción socio-cultural de los Waorani y el aporte de riqueza cultural de su identidad y valores que representa esta nacionalidad, donde se manejó una muestra no probabilística en conjunto con los moradores del asentamiento, por medio de archivos de registro, entrevistas, cartografías participativas y conversatorios. Finalmente, la intención de esta investigación es la de destacar el valor cultural esencial que posee la nacionalidad Waorani ante aspectos de adaptabilidad, diversificación económica y patrón residencial, además de contribuir a la mejora de la imagen urbana del sector con una correcta planeación.

The Waorani territory for a long time, has been exposed to the intervention of various companies and programs that caused changes in nationality, generating interrelation between the urban and the rural, that is, there have been migrations to peripheral urban spaces; Starting from their place of origin in search of better opportunities such as education, employment and because their natural resources begin to be scarce, consequently, informal human settlements obtained through spontaneous construction and without any urban planning, for this reason, the following research aims to generate an Urban-Architectural Design proposal in the Barrio “Nuevo Amanecer” settlement - Shell sector, taking the administrative equipment and temporary accommodation, AMWAE house, as a regulatory entity, a binding space and adaptability for the sector .

The present study based on a qualitative research, with an ethnographic design, which includes the socio-cultural description of the Waorani and the contribution of cultural richness of their identity and values that this nationality represents, where a non-probabilistic sample managed in conjunction with the inhabitants of the settlement, through registry files, interviews, participatory cartographies and discussions.

Finally, the intention of this research is to highlight the essential cultural value of the Waorani nationality in the face of aspects of adaptability, economic diversification and residential pattern, in addition to contributing to the improvement of the urban image of the sector with correct planning.
