| Resumen : | La industria de la construcción evoluciona rápidamente, a la vez que demanda un nuevo tipo de profesional de la ingeniería civil con habilidades técnicas, sociales y comportamientos que aporten a mejorar el desempeño de las empresas constructoras. En la formación de los ingenieros civiles, se emplea como estrategia metodológica el trabajo en grupo (TEG). Esta estrategia presenta muchas ventajas para el aprendizaje colaborativo; sin embargo, los docentes lo ven como un medio para el desarrollo cognitivo curricular únicamente, dejando inexplorado el aporte del TEG en el desarrollo de habilidades y comportamientos. La investigación de enfoque cualitativo - interpretativo busca develar los aprendizajes adquiridos por los estudiantes y docentes de la carrera de ingeniería civil durante la implementación del TEG. Mediante entrevistas y la aplicación de la teoría fundamentada se identificaron los conocimientos, habilidades y comportamientos que los estudiantes y los docentes de ingeniería civil adquieren durante su aplicación. Los hallazgos obtenidos permitirán potencializar la estrategia del TEG durante el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje, aportando al desarrollo de competencias profesionales y personales de los estudiantes universitarios. |
| Descripción : | The construction industry is evolving rapidly, therefore, it is demanding a new type of civil engineering professionals with technical, social and behavioral skills that contribute to improving the performance of construction companies. In the training of civil engineers, group work (GW) is used as a methodological strategy. This strategy has many advantages for collaborative learning. However, teachers see it as a means for curricular cognitive development only, leaving the contribution of the GW in the development of skills and behavior unexplored. This research with a qualitative-interpretive approach, seeks to unveil the learning acquired by the students and teachers of the civil engineering career during the implementation of the GW. Through interviews with teachers and students and the application of grounded theory, the knowledge, skills and behaviors that students and teachers of civil engineering acquire during its application were identified. The obtained findings will allow to potentiate the GW strategy during the teaching-learning process, contributing to the development of professional and personal competences of university students. |
