| Resumen : | La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de las habilidades matemáticas en los estudiantes de cuarto año de Educación General Básica paralelos A, B y C de la Unidad Educativa “Once de Noviembre”, misma que identificó el nivel de habilidades matemáticas que prevalece en la población de estudio. El estudiante al ingresar al sistema educativo puede exponerse a una serie de dificultades en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje es por ello que el mismo muestra un inconveniente frente a situaciones que involucren la resolución de problemas matemáticos. Conociendo que las habilidades matemáticas implica en el desarrollo de una serie de herramientas que provienen de procesos tales como; el saber hacer, saber demostrar, saber resolver, saber calcular y el saber operar. Metodológicamente se trató de una investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, de tipo descriptivo; por el objetivo básica, por el lugar de campo, de tipo transversal. La técnica utilizada fue una Prueba Psicométrica con su respectivo instrumento que es la Batería Psicopedagógica Evalúa 3 de Jesús García Vidal, Daniel González Manjón y Beatriz García Ortiz utilizada para la variable de estudio. La muestra estuvo conformada por 48 mujeres y 55 varones con un total de 103 estudiantes del cuarto año de Educación General Básica paralelos A, B y C. Los resultados de la Batería Psicopedagógica Evalúa 3 demuestran que prevalece en las mujeres los niveles Medio a Alto mientras que en los varones se evidencia que predominan los niveles Medio Alto a Medio Bajo. |
| Descripción : | The objective of this present investigation is to determine the level of mathematical skills in fourth level students of General Basic Education from parallels A, B and C of the "Once de Noviembre" school, which identified the level of mathematical skills that prevails in the study population. Upon entering the educational system, the student may be exposed to a lot of difficulties in the teachinglearning journey, which is why it shows a disadvantage in situations that involve solving mathematical exercises. Knowing that mathematical skills implies in the development of a series of tools that come from processes such as; knowing how to do, knowing how to demonstrate, knowing how to solve, knowing how to calculate and how to operate. Methodologically, it was an investigation with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational type; by the basic objective, by the field location, transversal type. The technique used was a Psychometric Test with its respective instrument which is the book named Batería Psicopedagógica Evalúa 3 by Jesús García Vidal, Daniel González Manjón and Beatriz García Ortiz used for the study variable. The sample consisted of 48 women and 55 men with a total of 103 students of the fourth level of General Basic Education from parallels A, B and C. The results of the book showed that the Medium to High levels prevail in women while that in men it was evidenced that Medium High to Medium Low levels predominate as a result of the application of the book. |
