| dc.description | The present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the knowledge on the interventions for the therapeutic adherence of the hypertensive adult carried out by the nursing staff of the Operative Units of the city of Puyo, the population under study was formed by 25 nursing professionals with an age range between 23 and 47 years old, being more frequent the female gender with 92%. With respect to knowledge about the concept of hypertension, 44% respond incorrectly; as regards altered blood pressure values, 64% do not know it; while 100% do not know the classification of the stages of hypertension according to WHO; With regard to the risk factors for the occurrence of hypertension, 52% do not respond correctly; Regarding knowledge about therapeutic adherence, we can see that 76% of the answers were incorrect and 64% did not know about the consequences of poor therapeutic adherence; as well as 88% do not know about the evaluation of therapeutic adherence tests; corroborating that 92% does not respond correctly in terms of the interventions that must be performed to manage the hypertensive adult. By what means that the knowledge is insufficient in relation to the subject, being the nursing professional the important talent to promote the health and to offer education to the patient on therapeutic adherence; this is related to the lack of training programs, as well as the inadequate management of the hypertensive patient by the nursing staff. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación fue realizada con el objetivo de determinar el conocimiento sobre las intervenciones para la adherencia terapéutica del adulto hipertenso que realiza el personal de enfermería de las Unidades Operativas de la ciudad de Puyo, la población objeto de estudio estuvo conformado por 25 profesionales de enfermería con un rango de edad entre los 23 y 47 años, siendo más frecuente el género femenino con el 92%. Con respecto al conocimiento sobre el concepto de hipertensión arterial, el 44% responden de forma incorrecta; en lo referente a valores de presión arterial alterados no lo conocen un 64%; mientras que el 100% desconoce la clasificación de los estadios de la hipertensión según la OMS; en lo que respecta a los factores de riesgo para el aparecimiento de hipertensión arterial un 52% no responden de forma correcta; respecto al conocimiento sobre adherencia terapéutica podemos evidenciar que el 76% de respuestas fueron incorrectas y un 64% no conoce sobre las consecuencias de una deficiente adherencia terapéutica; así como un 88% desconoce sobre el test de valoración de la adherencia terapéutica; corroborando que un 92% no responde en forma correcta en cuanto a las intervenciones que deben realizar para manejar al adulto hipertenso. Por lo que significa que el conocimiento es insuficiente en relación al tema, siendo el profesional de enfermería el talento importante para promocionar la salud y brindar educación al paciente sobre adherencia terapéutica; esto se relaciona con la falta de programas de capacitación, así como el manejo inadecuado del paciente hipertenso por parte del personal de enfermería. | es_ES |
