dc.descriptionThe radicular pain is usually due to the compression of a nervous root or trunk, this can be since a herniated disc, degenerative disease of the vertebral disc among others and when the pain has a route through the posterior aspect of the buttock, thigh to the posterolateral – lateral leg and food, is usually described as sciatica. For this reason it was taken into account for the realization of this research project Bernard’s currents as analgesic effect and thus be able to help in the reduction of pain in patients from 20 to 60 years who come to the Physiotherapy Area of the Sub-Health Center of the National Police of Sub Zone Chimborazo Nro. 6 which are remitted by a doctor with the diagnosis of Sciatic Radiculopathy. The Bernard’s principles have a quality that is a marked analgesic effect which tends to act on the sensitive nervous system and another on the motor, thus helping in the reduction of pain by the stimuli they cause. In the population that took place this research participated 20 people who were evaluated at the beginning and end, applying the Visual Analogue Scale, Lasegue and Bragard test, the results showed that the presence of pain decreaded.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl dolor radicular suele ser por la compresión de una raíz o tronco nervioso esto se puede dar por una hernia discal, enfermedad degenerativa del disco vertebral entre otros y cuando el dolor posee un recorrido por la cara posterior de la nalga, muslo hasta la cara postero-lateral de la pierna y pie, se suele describir como ciática. Por esta razón se tomó en cuenta para la realización de este proyecto de investigación las corrientes de Bernard como efecto analgésico y así poder ayudar en la disminución del dolor en pacientes de 20 a 60 años que acuden al Área de Fisioterapia del Sub Centro de Salud de la Policía Nacional de la Sub Zona Chimborazo N° 6 los cuales son remitidos por parte de un médico con el diagnóstico de Radiculopatía del Ciático. Las corrientes de Bernard poseen una cualidad que es un marcado efecto analgésico lo cual tiende a actuar sobre el sistema nervioso sensitivo y otra sobre el motor, ayudando así en la disminución de dolor por los estímulos que provocan. En la población que se llevó acabo esta investigación fue de 20 personas las cuales fueron evaluadas al inicio y final, aplicando la Escala Visual Analógica, las pruebas de Laségue y Bragard, los resultados obtenidos mostraron que la presencia del dolor disminuyó.es_ES
