dc.descriptionThe jumper's knee is caused by chronic inflammation of the patellar tendon. In this proposed case, the following techniques were applied: bone reconstruction using magnetotherapy, laser therapy, practice of isometric exercises to increase the arch of motion, muscle mass and passive mobility assisted by the physiotherapist, a partial rehabilitation of the patient was possible which allowed her gradual reintegration into the daily activities and her family and social environment. The results shown in this case will allow to establish protocols for the physiotherapeutic rehabilitation in basketball athletes who present this pathology in the city of Riobamba. These aspects previously did not exist antecedents.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa rodilla del saltador es causada por una inflamación crónica del tendón rotuliano. En el caso propuesto se aplicaron las siguientes técnicas: reconstrucción ósea mediante magnetoterapia, terapia láser, práctica de ejercicios isométricos para incrementar el arco de movimiento, la masa muscular y la movilidad pasiva asistida con ayuda del fisioterapéutica, se pudo rehabilitar parcialmente a la paciente lo cual permitió su reinserción paulatina en las actividades de la vida en su entorno familiar y social. Los resultados mostrados en el presente caso permitirán establecer protocolos de rehabilitación fisioterapéutica de atletas de básquetbol que presenten dicha patología en la ciudad de Riobamba, aspectos que anteriormente no existían antecedentes.es_ES
