| dc.description | SUMMARY The objective of this research is to know what information treatment is handled by the digital media Indómita Media and Diario El Comercio. For this purpose, a mixed methodology was used that allowed for the collection of both qualitative and quantitative data, which were the primary basis for the study. The matrices were applied to 141 publications, which are included in 139 of Diario El Comercio while the remaining 2 belong to Indómita Media, the interviews were carried out with the expert in Gender and Human Rights, the journalist with a specialty in journalistic genre of events police and also the founding journalist - editorial director of the digital media Indómita Media. The non-experimental descriptive research design was chosen because there was no alteration in the variables. The results of the research show that the information treatment that the media handles is informative in nature, with colloquial/technical language using a positive tone, the most used resource was photographs. In addition, results emerged that showed that Indómita Media has low coverage in cases of femicide. | dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN La presente investigación tiene como objetivo conocer cuál es el tratamiento informativo que manejan los medios digitales Indómita Media y Diario El Comercio. Para ello se utilizó una metodología mixta que permitió recopilar datos tanto cualitativos como cuantitativos que fueron la base primordial para el estudio. Las matrices fueron aplicadas a 141 publicaciones las cuales están comprendidas en 139 de Diario El Comercio mientras que, los 2 restantes pertenecen a Indómita Media, las entrevistas fueron realizadas a la experta en Género y Derechos Humanos, al periodista con especialidad en género periodístico de sucesos policiales y también a la periodista fundadora - directora editorial del medio digital Indómita Media. Se eligió el diseño de investigación descriptiva no experimental debido a que no existió ninguna alteración en las variables. Los resultados dentro de la investigación exponen que el tratamiento informativo que los medios manejan es de carácter informativo, con un lenguaje coloquial/técnico empleando un tono positivo, el recurso más utilizado fue las fotografías. Además, surgieron resultados en el que se evidenció que Indómita Media cuenta con un bajo cubrimiento en casos de femicidio. | es_ES |
