| dc.description | SUMMARY: This work addresses how technological innovation influences the territorial development of the Riobamba canton, focusing on the industrial sector. The problem focuses on determining how the adoption of new technologies impacts the growth and territorial transformation of this region through a mixed methodological approach, combining two types of analysis: qualitative and quantitative; The relationship between technological innovation and territorial development is examined. The study population includes 22 industrial companies from micro, small, medium and large companies in the canton. The results reveal a P value of 0.028 is lower than the significance threshold of 0.05, rejecting the null hypothesis H0 and accepting the alternative hypothesis H1, which indicates a positive relationship between the variables analyzed, which implies that technological innovation exerts an impact on the development of the territory surrounding the development of the events, evidenced in improvements in the productivity, competitiveness and environmental sustainability of companies. This study concludes that the integration of advanced technologies in the industrial sector is an influence on the economic and social development of the city of Riobamba, suggesting the need for public policies that promote technological innovation as a strategy for territorial development. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: Este trabajo aborda como influye la innovación tecnológica en el desarrollo territorial del cantón Riobamba, enfocándose en el sector industrial. La problemática se centra en determinar cómo la adopción de nuevas tecnologías impacta en el crecimiento y la transformación territorial de esta región mediante un enfoque metodológico mixto, combinando dos tipos de análisis: cualitativos y cuantitativos; se examina la relación entre la innovación tecnológica y el desarrollo territorial. La población de estudio incluye 22 empresas industriales desde microempresa, pequeña, mediana y grande empresa del cantón. Los resultados revelan un valor P de 0.028 es inferior al umbral de significancia de 0.05, rechazando la hipótesis nula H0 y aceptando la hipótesis alternativa H1, lo que indica una relación positiva entre las variables analizadas, lo que implica que la innovación tecnológica ejerce un impacto sobre el desarrollo del territorio circundante al desarrollo de los eventos, evidenciado en mejoras en la productividad, la competitividad y la sostenibilidad ambiental de las empresas con.
