| Resumen : | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo establecer la relación que existe entre el turismo educativo y el producto turístico de la parroquia Cebadas, cantón Guamote, provincia de Chimborazo. Se utilizo una metodología de investigación documental y correlacional, con un diseño de estudio no experimental. La investigación consta de dos etapas; la primera, a través del uso de encuestas dirigidas a 136 estudiantes matriculados en el periodo 2023 1S, de la carrera de Turismo de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo y se evaluó dimensiones de: motivación turística, saberes ancestrales e intercambio académico y la segunda, mediante encuestas dirigidas a 176 jefes de familia residentes en el centro de la parroquia de Cebadas, enfocándose en aspectos como: servicios turísticos, recursos turísticos e infraestructura, mediante el análisis de información se evidenció que el 97,4% de encuestados consideran que es conveniente estructurar el turismo educativo debido a su capacidad para combinar el turismo con el aprendizaje y la educación. Mediante la comprobación de hipótesis se demostró que no existe relación entre el turismo educativo y el producto turístico, por lo propone la implementación de un programa de turismo educativo que consta de tres proyectos educativos, que tienen como objetivo brindar a los visitantes una experiencia enriquecedora que les permita aprender, disfrutar y conocer la riqueza cultural y natural del lugar. |
| Descripción : | The aim of this research is to establish the connection between educational tourism and the tourist industry in Cebadas parish, Guamote canton, Chimborazo province. The research methodology used was documentary and correlational, with a non-experimental study design. The investigation consists of two stages; the first, through the use of surveys addressed to 136 students enrolled in the period 2023 1S, of the Tourism career of the National University of Chimborazo and dimensions of: tourist motivation, ancestral knowledge and academic exchange were evaluated and the second, through surveys directed to 176 heads of family residing in the center of the parish of Cebadas, focusing on aspects such as: tourist services, tourist resources and infrastructure, through the analysis of information it was evidenced that 97.4% of respondents consider that it is convenient to structure educational tourism due to its ability to combine tourism with learning and education. Through the verification of hypotheses, it was shown that there is no relationship between educational tourism and the tourist product, which is why it proposes the implementation of an educational tourism program that consists of three educational projects, whose objective is to provide visitors with an enriching experience that allows them to learn, enjoy and learn about the cultural and natural wealth of the place. |
